I am 29 years old and married to the absolute love of my life and best friend, Greg. We have been together for 9 years now and married for 4 of those. We have 2 pups, a miniature yorkie named Reesie, and a pit bull named Cash. I currently work as a Realtor with Keller Williams Parishwide Partners and I absolutely love it. Constantly meeting new people and helping them achieve their dreams gives me so much joy in life.
I never thought I would end up in Real Estate, but I am so thankful that I did. It honestly was something that I just fell into! I graduated from ULM with a degree in Marketing. While I was in school, I spent that time working in retail management. I worked at Charlotte Russe, Dillards, American Eagle, and Francesca’s. Yes, I know I hopped around the mall a lot.
I ended up getting burned out with the retail life. Working every holiday, working until 10pm, working almost every weekend. I was tired of it. That’s when I got a job working as a para-professional at Riser Middle School. Something else I fell into. Working there was honestly one of the best times of my life. There I found a passion that I didn’t know I had. Kids. Kids that didn’t have anyone. Kids that were alone. Kids that were raised in violent, addiction filled homes. I worked there for 5 years, and that’s when I ended up in Real Estate. I knew that I didn’t want to be a teacher, but I could also only do so much with the position that I was in. So I made the choice to leave, and now I’ve been in Real Estate for 2 years.
The main reason for starting this blog is to document my journey with infertility. Not just the journey, but the emotions and hardships that come along with it. While this is a way for me to have an outlet to express what I’m going through, it is also meant to be a place for others to come to know that they are not alone.
